Art Print of “Cicada Summer” by Mary Haapala
Archival reproduction of an original painting by Mary Haapala. This calm piece of art depicts a beautifully colored cicada relaxing on a solid, (but textured) white background. He’s giving Art Deco vibes and would look fabulous in a gold or warm wood frame.
People either love cicadas or they hate them. Being from Michigan, (where cicadas are not a big pest) the artist loves them! Michigan’s summer soundtrack punctuated with an infrequent trill of cicadas mixed in among the birds and other bugs. Check out the red-pink markings on this little guy and his cute beady eyes. The original painting was done in oil paints on canvas sized 8×10 inches.
This reproduction is printed using archival inks and on archival paper. It comes wrapped, but unframed.
